Our Romantic Napa Valley Guest Rooms
Candlelight Inn, a Napa Bed and Breakfast, rests on one acre of beautifully manicured gardens. The Inn is situated in a 1929 English Tudor-style home, which sits under a small grove of Redwood Trees. The romantic setting of the Inn is perfect for a quiet getaway to Napa’s wine country, or simply sitting by the pool and enjoying a peaceful afternoon in our tranquil backyard. Each of our guest rooms feature private bathrooms, pillow-top mattresses, TVs, Comphy brand linens, and everything else you’ll need to enjoy a restful night of sleep in Napa. After a relaxing night at the Candlelight Inn, you’ll wake up to our gourmet breakfast, ready for a day of adventure in both Napa and Sonoma Valley.
To further enjoy your stay at the Inn, our knowledgeable concierge can help you schedule activities, such as in-room couples massages, restaurant reservations, wine tours, and other activities. We also now have Comphy Linens, which are used in each guest room, available for purchase.

Creekside Cottage
There are many reasons to prefer unique, small-scale bed and breakfasts, as opposed to impersonal corporate hotel chains. But for those occasions when you are with that special person, and want a bit more privacy and flexibility for your time together, this spacious cottage is the perfect solution. Here, you can be alone and secluded, with no neighbors or adjoining rooms.
Step out on your private deck overlooking gently murmuring Napa Creek, and you are embraced in lush gardens and woodlands. A bonus on most nights in Napa’s wine country is enjoying the starlight through the towering trees. Relax in plush robes beside the fireplace after soaking in the bubbles of the big two-person Jacuzzi tub, which offers its own captivating view of woodlands.
In the mornings, you can enjoy our three-course gourmet breakfast on your own deck overlooking the creek. It is a wonderful combination of natural beauty and luxurious creature comforts. Creekside Cottage is truly an idyllic environment for a romantic getaway, or even an extended stay. It features a luxurious king size bed, a sitting area with leather chairs, and a flat screen TV near the fireplace.

Candlelight Suite
This spacious, airy, high-ceilinged room was originally the estate’s master suite. It features a four-poster king-size bed, and a private bathroom with a tub and shower unit. There is a handmade stained glass window on the wall high above the bed featuring a candle. As the sunlight moves throughout the day, you’ll enjoy streams of changing color lighting up the polished dark wood floors. There is also a built-in bookcase, entertainment center, electric fireplace, and a small refrigerator. This special room has the original leaded glass chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
Fabulous getaway in Wine Country!
Great service beautiful facility BRAVO on the implementation of Covid procedures! Felt very safe while still being able to have a wonderful Napa vacation/stay.
The Breakfast was ah-mazingly delicious! The extremely clean room had great amenities. Sheets were sooooo soft, Bed was super comfy! Highly recommend this place!

Garden View Room Accessible
The Garden View Room is an accessible King Room. This is one of our most romantic rooms, with an elegantly draped four-poster king-size bed. It exudes a colorful, playful mood. Enjoy your own private deck with views of the expansive garden and pool. The room’s private double whirlpool spa tub is perfect for relaxing and recounting your day’s adventure in wine country. This accessible room also features a roll-in shower, accessible parking, accessible ramp from parking area to room, large TV, and gas fireplace. Additional ADA information.

My stay at the Candlelight Inn was incredible! The team went above and beyond to ensure my every need was met. I loved my room and the huge bathtub! The breakfasts they serve are incredible. And the pool and backyard are so serene. It was a perfect trip!!!

Majestic Room
Truly fit for royalty, this elegantly furnished room is richly decorated in gold and red. Of course, it has a King-size bed, as well as a fireplace with a beautiful antique mantel. Enjoy pool and garden views from your own private deck. The room also features a private bath with a two-person spa tub.
Lovely stay - perfect for a short break
Excellent b&b, fantastic service, lovely rooms and a peaceful pool. The staff could not be more polite and welcoming. They really take social distancing and hygiene seriously too. A lovely spot to kick back and relax.

Starlight Room
As you step into this room, you get the feeling of being in an English countryside Inn, beginning with the king sized bed. Two handsome leather club chairs – perfect for reading – accent the space. A private bath with a two-person spa tub, a corner fireplace and luxurious soft and silky bedding provide the perfect finishing touches to this elegant room.
We really enjoyed our stay!
Felt safe during Covid. The breakfast was wonderful. The room had everything you needed. Cute and comfy. The staff was great and Sydney recommend a wonderful place for dinner. We will visit again and will recommend it! Very quaint and romantic.

Vista View Room
A dormer niche with a table and comfortable chairs makes this large second floor room a cozy place to relax and read. Step out onto your private balcony to enjoy the surrounding view through Pine and California Walnut trees. The king bedded room has a gas fireplace and private bath with a two-person spa tub.
Quiet and romantic, close to everything! Candlelight Inn is a beautiful getaway. I happened to find it online when looking for something a little more private than a hotel. This is the place. A nice large home with warm friendly people, a nice cozy room with soft comfy bed sheets. The breakfast everyday is a huge plus. The first day, they brought us a scone and a muffin and we were pleasantly surprised, but then the main breakfast came, a delicious spinach frittata. Yum!!!! When you do not feel like leaving your room at 9 am to get breakfast, this is def the place : ))) eat breakfast here then leave for the wineries.
Such beautiful grounds, nice pool, gorgeous flowers planted everywhere. We had a wonderful time and will recommend this place to everyone. Thank you to Dan (very warm and welcoming upon our arrival), thank you to the young gentleman that brought up our meals and replenished our coffee, and the ladies in the kitchen that prepped our food, all amazing. We appreciate the service and the location and the great breakfast, a very great anniversary trip for us.

Lady Heather Room
This Victorian style, secluded corner room is surrounded by views of towering trees. It has a queen bed, fireplace and private bath with a two-person spa tub. The balcony provides bird’s eye views of the redwood and walnut trees.
Great pool and safe during Covid-19
This bed and breakfast was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to create a safe, clean environment during these unique COVID-19 times: hand sanitiser everywhere, temperature checks before entering, wiping everything down continuously, social distancing staff/guests, etc.
The breakfast was three courses: fruit, pastry, and some egg dish, which was filling but light. The pool and backyard was spectacular. They also offered complementary cheese boards and house wine, which was a nice touch.

Lady Brittany Room
This very romantic and welcoming room has an ornate iron queen bed with a two-person spa tub just steps away. It sets the mood for your very special getaway. A private balcony offers a beautiful overhead view of the pool and garden. There is also a private bathroom.
Favorite spot in California!
My husband and I decided to explore California, starting below Yosemite and going up as far as Calistoga. Of all the places we stayed, this was our favorite. It began by checking our temperature via forehead to ensure safety, then we were met by Daniel who shared an excellent full-bodied Cabernet from Sonoma County, and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, and a cheese tray waiting in the fridge.
In our sanitized elegant room, chocolates and more awaited, such as a gift bag including hand sanitizer. After a jacuzzi tub, the private back yard had multiple spots for guests to tarry far apart from each other enjoying the trees, wine, or the pool.

Upper Champagne Room
Be prepared for a pleasant surprise! All of a sudden, you could be in an English seaside cottage. The room features warm knotty pine walls and nautical decor. Instead of a view of the sea, enjoy your lovely view of Cork Oak and Dedar Cedar Trees, with the Napa hills in the distance. This guest room features a queen bed and private bath and shower.
Our stay was amazing!
We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Dan was AWESOME.. He greeted us at the door, showed us around the beautiful property, and walked us to our room. In our room, champagne was waiting for us.
Our room and the property were extremely clean, especially during COVID. They did a great job of keeping everything clean and sanitized. We stayed in Lady Brittney, which was amazing. Our stay was perfect, yummy food, and a refreshing pool. We can’t wait to return. Thank you Dan for being such an amazing host!

Lower Champagne Room
Decorated in the sunny tones of Provence, this room has beautiful hardwood floors and a cozy seating area overlooking the pool and gardens. Completing the mood are an original mural of a wine country landscape, and a queen bed. Private bathroom has a tub and shower combo. Due to size of the Lower Champagne Room, we are not able to have massages in this room.
Great stay and service
During these tough times with Covid rules, we thought the staff did an amazing job and felt very comfortable. Beautiful facilities, lovely happy hour snacks and fabulous breakfast.
Can't wait to come back another time. Very attentive service and great attention to details.

Winemaker Room
Colors of surrounding vineyards signal a pleasant introduction to wine country in this room. Golden walls and gleaming hardwood floors set the stage for a mahogany four-poster queen bed. The room’s windows reveal pleasant views of the pool and gardens. Private bath with shower included.
We had a wonderful time in staying at the Candlelight Inn!
It was three couples, we rented our own rooms. I stayed in the Candlelight Suite, which was spacious and gorgeous. All of the rooms are beautiful, it's hard to choose one. The Majestic room has access to the pool and the Vista View room has a balcony. The minute we arrived, we all were wowed by the beautiful place. The host and everyone who attended us were so nice and delightful.
Not only is it a beautiful Inn, but the hospitality was the best! From elegant rooms, to snacks, wines, the swimming pool, and a delicious 3 course breakfast to start you day. We enjoyed the gardens. We can't wait to visit again soon. Thank you Candlelight Inn, we can't wait to see you all again soon and rest in your heavenly beds!
