Built in 1929 by the local postmaster, the inn is an exquisite example of English Tudor architecture. With whitewashed plaster set between blackened oak timbers, the inn reflects light both inside and out — brightening the common rooms in the day and creating a beautiful glow at night. The result is an exceedingly romantic and soothing environment — perfect for a renewing visit to the wine country.

As the owner/instructor of an innkeeper training course, Sam is the consummate Hospitality Professional with over thirty years of industry experience.

Policies:

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a $35 per room cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 14 full days prior to arrival date will be charged a fee equal to one night's stay or 50% of the reserved stay, whichever is greater, unless the room(s) can be rebooked. 30 days cancellation notice is required for some holidays and special events. We have a 2 night minimum for most weekends, and a 3 night minimum for most holiday weekends and Saturdays from June through October. Sometimes shorter weekend stays are available, so please call for details. Additional policies apply to group reservations of three rooms or more.
Smoking: We are a non-smoking inn.
Pets: Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate guests' pets.
